Officially named the Dennis “Polar Bear” Agnew Memorial Skatepark (one of the original Dog Town skaters), the design mimics Dog Town's world of empty swimming pools. The new $2.4 million Venice Beach Skate Park in California is a 16,000-square-foot facility featuring rails, ramps, steps and bowls that resemble empty swimming pools. The park's unique design combines street and vert skating, allowing skateboarders to flow in and out of the different styles.
